About this site

Set in 50 acres of farmland and woodland at Winksley, around 4 miles west of Ripon, Woodhouse Farm Caravan Park (branded Woodhouse Farm Holiday Park) is a family touring and camping park in North Yorkshire's Nidderdale countryside. Fountains Abbey lies under 3 miles away, Brimham Rocks and Newby Hall are both an easy drive, and Ripon's market square and cathedral are close enough for a rainy morning, so the sightseeing is sorted before you unhitch. Touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans get grass or hardstanding pitches with electric hook up, tents get generous pitches around 8.5m by 12m with or without power, and woodland camping pods sleep families of four to six. It suits families best: there is an indoor play barn, a climbing wall, play forts, a pump track, fishing lakes and The Barn pub and restaurant with a takeaway service. It is not the place for fire lovers or big gatherings, because campfires are strictly prohibited, gazebos are banned, group bookings are refused and single night stays are not taken. Dogs are welcome at Woodhouse Farm for £2 a night. Pitches start from £20 a night in low season and camping pods from £35 a night, booked through the park's online system.
