Yorkshire Sun Society Naturist Club

Founded in 1932, Yorkshire Sun Society Naturist Club is a member-owned naturist club set in 26 acres of secluded woodland on the northeastern edge of Hull in East Yorkshire. It describes itself as Yorkshire's first and largest naturist club, run on a non-commercial basis by its members rather than as a business. Naturism is the norm across the grounds, and the club warmly welcomes visiting naturists and first-timers, though every visit must be arranged in advance and access is through the gate on Carlam Lane. Around ten pitches take tents, caravans, motorhomes and small campervans, with hardstanding and electric hook-ups, and you can also hire one of the club's static caravans. Indoors there is a clubhouse with a licensed bar, a kitchen and dining area, a TV lounge and library, plus a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, with toilets and showers on site. Families are welcome, and so are well-behaved dogs. The wooded setting is quiet and private, a genuine escape a few miles from Hull city centre and within reach of Beverley and the East Yorkshire countryside. The grounds at Yorkshire Sun Society stay open to members all year, while visitors are welcome between 1 March and 31 October, by prior arrangement in every case.
