About this site

Bolberry House Farm Caravan and Camping Park is a family-run park near Salcombe in the South Hams of South Devon, set between the old fishing village of Hope Cove and the sailing waters of Salcombe. It sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty above a valley that runs down to the sea at Hope Cove, so several pitches catch wide westerly views and some memorable sunsets. The park has two touring areas, the Main Park and the smaller Paddock, along with a few static caravans for hire, and it takes tents, caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-up available. Elaine and Fiona are the fourth generation of their family here, which shows in the settled, well-kept feel of the place. Facilities cover hot showers, a laundry, an on-site shop, wifi, drinking water and chemical disposal. It suits walkers heading for the South West Coast Path, families and couples wanting a quiet seaside base near Salcombe, rather than anyone after evening entertainment or a pool, as there is none. Bolberry House Farm opens from early April for the main season. Pitches book direct through the park's own website or by phoning 01548 561251.

Good to know

Is Bolberry House Farm dog-friendly?
Yes, Bolberry House Farm welcomes dogs, which makes it a practical base for walking the nearby South West Coast Path. The surrounding South Hams countryside and the beaches around Hope Cove and Salcombe give plenty of scope for dog walks straight from the caravan and camping park.
Does Bolberry House Farm have sea views?
Some pitches enjoy wide westerly views down the valley towards the sea at Hope Cove, with sunsets that regulars rate highly. Not every pitch faces the sea, as the park sits in rolling countryside, but the coast and beaches around Salcombe and Hope Cove are close by.
Can you bring a caravan or motorhome to Bolberry House Farm?
Yes, the park has two touring areas, the Main Park and the smaller Paddock, taking tents, caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-up available. There are also a few static caravans for hire. Facilities include hot showers, a laundry, an on-site shop, wifi and chemical disposal points.
When does Bolberry House Farm open?
The park opens for the main season from early April. As a quiet, family-run site in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Salcombe, it focuses on peaceful seaside and walking breaks rather than year-round stays, so it is worth booking ahead for the summer school holidays.
