Why campers love it here
About this site
Broadlands Farm Touring Caravan Site is an adults-only touring park on the edge of Durkar village, a short drive south of Wakefield city centre in West Yorkshire. The site sits off Durkar Low Lane, about 3 miles from Wakefield and close to Junction 39 of the M1, with the A1(M) and the wider county within easy reach. It has 28 level, hard standing pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, each with metered 6 amp electric hook-up, plus a launderette and a secure dog walking paddock. As an adults-only site with a four night minimum stay, it suits couples and longer-stay tourers rather than families or anyone after a single night stop, and it does not take tents. Public transport runs from near the site into Wakefield, so you can leave the car pitched up, and small to medium dogs are welcome on a lead. Broadlands Farm is open from 1 March to 31 December, with pitches from £28 a night including 6 amp electric (2023 tariff).
