Dearne Head Farm Certificated Location

Dearne Head Farm is an adults-only Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location on high farmland above Ingbirchworth, near Denby Dale and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. This is a small five-van site for caravans and motorhomes, and its adults-only rule is the first thing to know: no children stay here, which keeps it calm and quiet. The setting is open Pennine countryside on the West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire border, close to Ingbirchworth Reservoir and its walking trails, with the eastern edge of the Peak District National Park a short drive west. Electric hook-up is available and dogs are welcome, so it works well for couples touring with a dog. Facilities are simple, in keeping with a Certificated Location: there is a toilet on site but no shower block, and there is no shop, pool or clubhouse, so bring your own kit and expect a well-kept pitch rather than a resort. Membership of the Caravan and Motorhome Club is required to book, though you can join in advance. Penistone, Holmfirth and the market town of Denby Dale are all within easy reach for supplies and pubs. The site is open all year, and pitches are booked directly with the site or through the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
