About this site

Lynmouth Holiday Retreat, formerly Channel View Caravan Park, is a family run touring and holiday park high in Exmoor National Park at Barbrook near Lynton, in North Devon. The park sits on high ground with far reaching views over Lynton, Lynmouth and the Bristol Channel, and footpaths lead straight from the site down towards the riverside or out onto open moorland. It caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes on pitches with electric hook up, and adds glamping pods and holiday caravans for hire when you fancy some extra comfort, so it works for campers and for anyone who wants a ready made base without their own van. Facilities include free hot showers, a family shower room, an accessible suite and a laundry, and the Beggars Roost pub sits right next door for evening meals and real ales. This is walking and wildlife country, with red deer, the South West Coast Path and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth all close by, rather than a lively resort park with pools and clubs. Dogs are welcome across the touring and camping areas. Lynmouth Holiday Retreat opens for the main season from spring, and pitch prices and pod availability are best checked and booked through the park's own website.
