Cinderhill Farm Certificated Site

A short walk from Cannon Hall and its popular farm and gardens, Cinderhill Farm offers a small certificated site at Cawthorne on the western side of Barnsley in South Yorkshire. Run for Camping and Caravanning Club members, it has around five well-spaced pitches over roughly four acres, taking tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes with no mains electric. There is fishing on the farm, the countryside is soft and rolling, and Cawthorne village keeps a pub and tea rooms within easy reach. One thing to watch is that the farm also puts on occasional live-music events through the year, so it is worth checking the calendar so a quiet weekend stays quiet. Dogs are not accepted. Cannon Hall Museum, Park and Gardens is under a mile away and makes a fine day out, with Barnsley about five miles east and the Peak District a little further west.
