Clitheroe Camping And Caravanning Club Site

Clitheroe Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a riverside Club Site on Edisford Road, set between the River Ribble and the market town of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley. The site sits just south of the Forest of Bowland, and Clitheroe town centre and its castle, which has stood for roughly 800 years and now houses a museum, are about a 30 minute walk away. The nearest bus stop is 500m from the entrance and Clitheroe railway station is 1.5 miles, so you can happily leave the car on the pitch all week. Pitches come in three types: grass without electric, grass with electric hook up, and hardstanding with electric hook up, and the site takes tents, caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and rooftop tents. Two things are worth knowing before you book: the grass service pitches for caravans slope both ways, so pack chocks, and ball games are banned across the whole site, which will not suit families after a kickabout. Facilities run to a shop, washing machines, a motorhome service point, a parent and baby room, accessible facilities and site wifi, and dogs are welcome. Clitheroe Club Site opens from 13 February to 26 October 2026, with member adult prices from £11.30 a night.
