Why campers love it here
About this site
Edisford Bridge Farm is a family run caravan and camping site at Edisford Bridge on the edge of Clitheroe in Lancashire, with spacious pitches for tents and tourers and a games room for the rainy afternoons. The site started life as a Caravan Club CL over 25 years ago and has grown up since, keeping the quiet, unhurried feel while adding a modern toilet and shower block. It sits in the Ribble Valley, one of the better looking corners of Lancashire, with the Forest of Bowland on the doorstep, and the Edisford Bridge pub is at the top of the lane. Hardstanding pitches take a caravan, camper van, motorhome, trailer tent or roof tent, and include up to four people and one car. Separate tent pitches are sized from one man up to six. Electric hook up is £5 a night on any pitch. Campfires, chimneys, fire pits and fire baskets are strictly banned, so if an evening fire is the whole point of the trip, this is not your spot, and group bookings of more than two pitches are no longer taken. Edisford Bridge Farm closes for part of January through to the beginning of March, and tent pitches start at £10 a night.
