Why campers love it here
About this site
Galmpton Touring Park is a small, quiet touring park on the edge of Galmpton village near Brixham in South Devon, set on gently sloping ground with fine views over the River Dart. Now owned by Wilson Leisure, a family business with long standing Devon roots, the park caters for touring caravans and motorhomes and offers seasonal pitches and storage, set across a few acres of peaceful countryside with a south and west facing aspect that catches the sun through the day. Pitches come as grass or hardstanding, with or without electric, and many are terraced to sit level, while service pitches add fresh water and waste drainage for extra convenience. Facilities include a toilet and shower block, laundry, a play area and a park shop. The location is a genuine strength, only around three miles upstream from Dartmouth, central to Brixham, Torquay and the wider English Riviera, and within reach of Totnes, with a village pub, butcher and store a short walk away. A ferry and the local steam railway are close by for car free days out. This is a relaxed base for couples and families who like walking, cycling and watersports rather than a big entertainment park. Up to two dogs per pitch are welcome. As opening arrangements have changed in recent seasons, check current dates and book directly with the park.
