Higher Culloden Farm Glamping

Higher Culloden Farm is a 15 acre smallholding glamping site on the edge of Camelford in north Cornwall, where off grid timber pods, campfires and Bodmin Moor's dark skies do the entertaining. Camelford town is a five minute walk down the track, the surfing beaches at Polzeath and Widemouth Bay are within a 25 minute drive, and Tintagel Castle sits about 5 miles up the road. Each pod sleeps two adults and two children up to around age 12 and has its own private wet room bathroom, and tent pitches open up in the school holidays and on some weekends. This is honest off grid camping in wooden form: no electricity in the pods, no wifi and no dogs (guide dogs excepted), so it suits families after chickens to feed and a stream to paddle in, not tourers wanting hook-ups and a clubhouse. Two shared kitchenettes, charging lockers, a 10 metre sandpit, a barn with table tennis and two firepit areas (one beside the stream, one by the facilities) cover the practical bits, with firewood and charcoal sold on site. The farm sits within the Bodmin Moor Dark Sky Landscape, so clear nights here are properly special.
