Hillhead Farm Certificated Location

Hillhead Farm Certificated Location is a five van Caravan and Motorhome Club site on a working farm at Ugborough, close to Ivybridge in the South Hams of South Devon. Lying about a mile off the A3121 on the southern edge of Dartmoor, it is well placed for the moor one way and the South Devon coast the other, with Ivybridge and its shops just down the road. Each of the five pitches has an electric hook-up and its own water tap, and there is a small washroom with two showers and two toilets, but no tents are taken and the site is open to Club members only. It suits self contained caravan and motorhome tourers who want a level, well kept field and real quiet after dark rather than a park with a shop, pool or entertainment. The pull is the view and the calm: a wildflower edged pasture looking out over rolling Devon farmland near Ugborough, with dark skies for stargazing. Dogs are welcome. Hillhead Farm opens from April to October and you book straight with the owners, with Caravan and Motorhome Club membership needed to stay.
