There are two areas to choose between, a large open field with electric hook-ups and a smaller enclosed paddock that suits family groups who want a bit of separation. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome, and the resident sheep, alpacas, llamas and chickens make it an easy sell for anyone camping with children. It is a quiet, tidy spot rather than an entertainment park, so groups of young adults are not accepted and campfires are not allowed. Penistone, about two miles away, has the shops, the market and a station on the scenic Penistone line, while the Trans Pennine Trail gives walkers and cyclists a proper day out from the gate.
