About this site

Moor View Touring and Camping Park is an adults only, dog friendly touring and camping park at California Cross, near Modbury in the South Hams of South Devon. It sits on the edge of Dartmoor with far reaching moorland views, and the well liked California Country Inn is a ten minute walk away, with a SPAR shop and garage about five minutes off. There are up to 55 pitches, from small, intermediate and super fully serviced hardstandings to grass camping pitches that take tents, all with 16 amp electric, water, grey waste and wifi. Hardstanding pitches start from £29 a night and grass camping from £27. As an adults only park it does not take families with children, and it runs no group bookings and does not permit motorcycles, so it genuinely stays quiet. A five acre dog walking field, a games room and a separate TV lounge round out a calm, tidy site that is part of the Tranquil Parks group. Hardstanding pitches at Moor View are open all year while the grass camping field runs across the warmer months, and you can book online.
