About this site

Mullacott Farm is a family-run Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on a small working farm near Ilfracombe in North Devon, with an eight-acre camping field that looks out to sea. It is worth saying up front that this is Mullacott Farm and not the separate Mullacott Park holiday-home site nearby. The camping field has plenty of room to pitch tents, caravans and motorhomes, with sea views across the coast and easy reach of Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and the edge of Exmoor. Facilities are straightforward and honest, with separate men's and ladies' toilets and showers, mains drinking water in the field and an Elsan disposal point, plus electric hook-up available by pre-booking or on the day if there is space. As a Club Certificated Site it can offer non-members a taster stay, though you need to be a member to use the electric hook-up area. This suits campers and touring visitors who want a simple farm field with a view rather than a resort, and it is family friendly, with dogs allowed on a lead and no large single-sex groups. The farm also runs bed and breakfast, a camping barn and year-round caravan storage. Camping runs roughly from Easter to November depending on the weather, booked directly with the farm.

Good to know

Is Mullacott Farm the same as Mullacott Park?
No, they are separate sites near Ilfracombe. Mullacott Farm is a family-run Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on a working farm, with an eight-acre camping field. Mullacott Park is a different holiday-home park nearby, so make sure you book the right one for camping and touring.
What can I pitch at Mullacott Farm?
The eight-acre Certificated Site field accepts tents, caravans and motorhomes, with sea views across the North Devon coast. Facilities include separate men's and ladies' toilets and showers, mains drinking water in the field and an Elsan disposal point. Electric hook-up is available by pre-booking or on the day if space allows.
Do I need to be a Club member to stay at Mullacott Farm?
Not to camp, as the site can offer non-members a taster stay and share membership details with no obligation to join. However, you do need to be a Camping and Caravanning Club member to stay in the electric hook-up area, so bear that in mind if you need power.
Is Mullacott Farm dog friendly and family friendly?
Yes to both. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times, and owners must clear up after them. The site is family friendly and does not take large single-sex groups, which helps keep the atmosphere quiet and suitable for families camping near Ilfracombe.
When is Mullacott Farm open for camping?
Camping runs roughly from Easter until November, depending on the weather, on the working farm near Ilfracombe. Booking is arranged directly with the farm. The farm also offers bed and breakfast, a camping barn and secure caravan storage available all year round.
