Newsholme Manor Restaurant is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site set in open Pennine countryside above Oakworth, near Keighley in West Yorkshire, with its own restaurant and bar as the headline draw. The Sexton family built Newsholme Manor in 1972, and the pitches look out over panoramic rural views across the valley. You are close to Haworth and Bronte Country, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is nearby, and Skipton is about 20 minutes away by car. This is a small five-van site with hardstanding and grass pitches and electric hook-up, plus a rally field with limited hook-up that suits groups and club meetings. It is a member site, so you need Camping and Caravanning Club membership to stay, and it suits caravanners and motorhomers after a quiet base rather than anyone wanting a large commercial park with pools and shops. What sets it apart is the restaurant: traditional home-cooked food from the original chef and proprietor, with lunches Thursday to Sunday and evening meals Thursday to Saturday, a bar on site, and bed and breakfast rooms as well. Dogs are welcome on a lead. The site is open all year, member pitch prices start from £13 a night, and stays are booked through the Camping and Caravanning Club.
