About this site

Plush Tents Glamping is a yurt village built fresh each spring in a woodland copse near Chichester in West Sussex, used mainly for exclusive-hire weddings and corporate away days, with family glamping weekends released periodically through the season. The site is off Chapel Lane at Oakwood, close to Goodwood (around 10 minutes away), Chichester itself, Fishbourne Roman Palace and West Wittering beach, all within easy reach for day trips. Accommodation across the village sleeps more than 60 people in decorated yurts and bell tents, with shared use of a wood-fired hot tub, a treehouse kitchen, a teepee and a children's play area when the whole site is hired out. Individual families can pitch up on selected weekends rather than booking the whole village, though these dates are limited and released online around six weeks ahead, so Plush Tents suits people who can plan in advance rather than book on a whim. It will not suit anyone wanting a guaranteed weekend slot at short notice, or a straightforward year-round campsite, since the West Sussex site runs from April to October only. The off-grid setup and the fire pit evenings are what regulars come back for. Contact Plush Tents directly for current family glamping dates and prices.
