About this site

Pooh Cottage Holiday Park is a quiet family run holiday park set in eight acres of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at Knowle near Budleigh Salterton in South Devon, one mile from the town and the Jurassic Coast. The park has direct access to Woodbury Common and the National Cycle Network, with the pebble beach at Budleigh Salterton a mile away and the sands of Exmouth around four miles off via the old railway line walk. It offers hardstanding touring pitches with electric hook up and grey waste, fully serviced seasonal pitches and a camping field for tents, so tents, caravans and motorhomes are all catered for, alongside three holiday homes for hire with countryside and sea views. The washrooms were built in 2016 and include individual shower rooms, free constant hot water, a large family bathroom, disabled facilities and laundry, with WiFi available for an extra charge. Dogs on leads are welcome and there are children's play areas and a woodland walk on site, so it suits families and touring couples wanting coast and countryside without a busy resort feel. Rallies are welcome all year with private use of the rally field. Pooh Cottage is open from late March, and touring availability is confirmed by calling the park directly.
