Why campers love it here
About this site
Putts Corner Caravan and Motorhome Club Site is a quiet touring park set in wooded countryside at Sidbury, a few miles inland from Sidmouth in South Devon. The site takes caravans and motorhomes across 94 hardstanding pitches, all with electric hook-up, and opens from 20 March to 2 November 2026 with arrivals from 1pm. It suits couples and families after a calm base rather than an on-site entertainment park, and there are no tent pitches here. Spring brings bluebells and foxgloves, and members report birdlife and the occasional deer wandering through. Dogs are welcome. Sidmouth and its long pebble beach sit close by, along with the Donkey Sanctuary, while the fossil-hunting coast around Lyme Regis and the wider Jurassic Coast are an easy drive east. As a Club campsite it is open to both members and non-members, though members pay lower pitch fees. The final approach is narrow, so follow the recommended directions rather than sat nav when towing into Putts Corner. Book ahead for summer weekends, as this corner of Devon fills quickly.
