Ramslade Caravan And Motorhome Club Site

Ramslade Caravan and Motorhome Club Site is a members only touring park set on a hillside between the River Dart and the coast at Stoke Gabriel, near Totnes in South Devon. The site is a mile from Stoke Gabriel, one of the prettiest villages in the county, where crabbing at low tide is a long standing tradition and the river gives easy access for exploring the English Riviera towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Ramslade has 163 pitches, virtually all with electric hook up and a growing number with water drainage and a shared picnic table, plus a playing field, games room and play area. It suits caravan and motorhome owners who want a quiet base with hillside views, and it works well for families. Note two things: this is a Club members only site (you may be able to join on arrival), and it does not take tents. The site has been awarded Green Tourism Silver. The Dart Valley cycle track at Totnes is about five miles away. Ramslade near Totnes opens from mid March to early November, and pitches are booked through the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
