About this site

Salcombe Regis Camping & Caravan Park is a family-run park set in the East Devon countryside near Sidmouth, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a short drive from the regency seaside town. It sits at Salcombe Regis in the Sid Valley, away from the busy A3052, with spacious pitches on around 16 acres and a special viewpoint out to the sea. The park takes tents, caravans and motorhomes, and also has static caravans for hire and seasonal touring pitches on an annual licence. It is a deliberately quiet, open site with no bar, clubhouse or swimming pool, so anyone after on-site entertainment should look elsewhere, but there is a shop, generous space and a dog-friendly field for exercising dogs off the lead. What stands out is the walking: paths lead to the Jurassic Coast and the South West Coast Path, and a 25-minute walk with 145 steps drops down to the shingle beach at Salcombe Mouth, where dogs are allowed all year. The Donkey Sanctuary is a level walk away, and a seasonal bus hops into Sidmouth. Salcombe Regis opens from spring to autumn, with bookings taken through the operator.
