Pitches: 80 Opening Dates: May To Sep Sea View Campsite Slapton, Dartmouth, Devon is a peaceful uncommercialised farm site, without tarmac roads or street lights, surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside with breathtaking views across the fields to the sea. This family run site makes a perfect holiday base being close to Dartmouth and many lovely beaches. The site prides itself on giving each camper a roomy, level pitch, with even more space for ball games etc. The site consists of two level fields totalling 10 acres. There is plenty of room to pitch your tent and space for the children to play. We have all the basic facilities: 10 toilets, 4 showers (20p) and washing up sinks with free hot water, all kept to a high standard of cleanliness. There is a freezer for ice blocks and a fridge. A shop on site has basic groceries, snacks, hot drinks,instant meals and camping essentials. A laundry service operates from reception. 30 pitches provide electric hook-ups for caravans, motorhomes or tents. There is a large field available for rallies and groups. Dogs are welcome. Please keep them on a lead, There is a large adjoining field where they can be exercised. Our centrally heated, double glazed static caravan is a perfect base for those who don't wish to camp. It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin and comes fully equipped. Set in its own private, gated, fully enclosed garden it has a stunning sea view and is the perfect place to relax. No dogs are allowed in this accommodation. Two pubs in the nearby village both do meals and there are free, nature-based activites for families running in the school holidays.
