Shamwari Certificated Location

Shamwari Certificated Location is an adults-only, five-pitch Caravan and Motorhome Club site on Musbury Road, about a mile from the market town of Axminster in East Devon. It takes caravans and motorhomes only, with no tents, and as a Club Certificated Location it is open to Club members. The gently sloping site has electric hook-ups and spacious pitches, and it looks out over a wildflower meadow, fruit trees and its own dog-walking area, with dogs welcome. Sitting within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty above the Axe Valley, it trades busy-park facilities for peace and a genuinely rural outlook, which is exactly what its adults-only, five-van limit is built for. The Jurassic Coast is close: Lyme Regis and the seafront at Seaton are a short drive south, while Axminster itself has a mainline railway station, shops and pubs within a mile. The site opens from 1 March to 31 October, making it a calm spring-to-autumn base for walking the coast path and exploring East Devon and the nearby Dorset border. Shamwari Certificated Location suits adult couples and solo tourers after quiet countryside rather than families or anyone needing on-site entertainment.
