About this site

Washingpool Farm Caravan Site is a small, adults only touring site for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, set on a working family farm just outside Bridport in west Dorset. The site sits about 3 miles from the fishing harbour at West Bay, on the B3162 towards Salway Ash, with views over the market town of Bridport and the Jurassic Coast. There are 10 hardstanding pitches, all fully serviced with electric and water hook ups, plus free rural strength WiFi, a toilet and shower block and the usual disposal facilities. Because the site is adults only, it does not take children or family groups, so it suits couples and solo travellers who want a quiet, tidy base rather than a busy holiday park. The real draw is the farm itself: an award winning farm shop and the Farmer's Kitchen Café are a short walk across the yard, selling the farm's own Ruby Red beef, eggs, fruit and vegetables. Well behaved dogs are welcome, and there are good walks straight from the gate as well as dog friendly beaches nearby. Washingpool Farm is open all year round, and reception runs from 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. Pitches start from £35 a night in low season, rising to £38 a night in high season (June to September), with an extra charge for more than two adults.
