Weston Dairy Campsite

Weston Dairy Campsite is a back to basics tent site on a working dairy farm above Worth Matravers, on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. The camping is one large 13 acre field where you pitch wherever you like, with grass, sea views and no marked bays. It sits on the Isle of Purbeck in South Dorset, a ten minute walk across fields from the Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers and a short stroll from coast path routes towards Winspit, Seacombe and Dancing Ledge, with Swanage around four miles away. This is a spot for tents and small campervans only, so it does not suit touring caravans, large motorhomes or anyone wanting electric hook-ups, hardstanding or on-pitch services. Facilities are deliberately simple, with regularly cleaned portable toilets and showers rather than a permanent block, plus morning bacon rolls and hot drinks. Two dogs per pitch are welcome free of charge on leads, and the wide open field gives families and groups room to spread out. Campfires are not allowed, though contained gas barbecues raised off the ground are fine. Weston Dairy trades through the summer, taking Friday and Saturday nights only during part of June and July and opening seven days a week across the rest of the season. Prices start from £7 per adult a night, £3 per child and £5 per vehicle for the whole stay.
