About this site

Wideacres Camping is a peaceful, dog free campsite at St Juliot near Boscastle in north Cornwall, with wide reaching sea and countryside views from its pitches. The site sits on a country lane off the B3263 between Boscastle and Bude: Boscastle and its harbour are a 5 minute drive away, the sandy surfing beach at Crackington Haven is a 10 minute drive, and Tintagel Castle sits about 5 miles down the coast. Tents, touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes are all welcome, with optional electric hook ups, and the playground and space for ball games make it a solid pick for families with energy to burn. Dog owners will need to pitch up elsewhere though, as the whole site stays strictly pet free. Beyond the basics (hot showers, spacious washrooms and an indoor washing up area) there is a friendly bar with a pool table, serving pizzas and chips in peak season, and Boscastle Farm Shop and Cafe is a mile away for a proper Cornwall breakfast. Barbecues are welcome at your pitch, so supper is sorted while the sun drops over the coast. Wideacres Camping opens from April to the end of September, with check in from 2pm to 8pm and prices quoted through the site's online booking system.
