Woodlands Certificated Location

Woodlands is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location at Kingsteignton, just outside Newton Abbot in South Devon. The site accepts up to five caravans or motorhomes on hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up and is set in around an acre of woodland, open all year. It is an adults-only, Club-members-only location with no tents, which makes it a calm, grown-up base rather than a family holiday park. Guests get use of an exclusive shower and WC, and TV reception is good. Arrivals run from midday to 9pm. A pub sits within a mile, buses to Teignmouth and Newton Abbot pass within a mile, and the nearest beach is about four miles off. Newton Abbot itself has the shops, station and racecourse, while Dartmoor and the Teign estuary are close for walking and days out. Woodlands suits touring couples who want a small, quiet stopover in South Devon within easy reach of both coast and moor. As a Certificated Location it must be booked with the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and it takes just five outfits at a time.
