About this site

Andrewshayes Holiday Park is a family-run, four-star touring, camping and holiday-home park in the East Devon countryside near Axminster, with pitches, glamping pods and static caravans spread across gently terraced meadowland. It sits near the village of Dalwood on the edge of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, about twenty minutes from the Jurassic Coast at Seaton, Lyme Regis and fossil-hunting Charmouth, with Axminster around three miles away. There are grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes (many with electric hook-up), glamping pods and holiday homes, some with private hot tubs. The ground slopes, so pitches are terraced, which is worth knowing if you are set on flat ground, but families and touring couples are well looked after and many terraced pitches enjoy views over the Axe valley. A free covered heated swimming pool, the Ploughman's Bar restaurant, a games room, a private woodland walk and a dog exercise field give Andrewshayes Holiday Park a friendly, well-kept feel, and it is a David Bellamy Gold and AA-rated park. It is open from April to November, and pitch and holiday-home prices are quoted through the park's booking system.

Good to know

Does Andrewshayes have camping and touring pitches?
Yes, Andrewshayes welcomes tents, touring caravans and motorhomes on grass and hardstanding pitches, many with electric hook-up. There are also glamping pods and static holiday homes, so you can choose between bringing your own outfit or booking ready-made accommodation.
Are the pitches level at Andrewshayes?
The park sits on sloping meadowland, so pitches are terraced rather than flat. It is worth mentioning your outfit when booking so the team can suggest a suitable pitch, and the terracing means many pitches enjoy views over the Axe valley.
Is there a swimming pool at Andrewshayes Holiday Park?
Yes, there is a free covered, heated swimming pool, open through the season. The park also has the Ploughman's Bar restaurant, a games room, a small soft play area, outdoor play areas and a private woodland walk and dog exercise field.
How far is Andrewshayes from the coast?
The Jurassic Coast is around twenty minutes' drive away, with Seaton, Lyme Regis and the fossil beaches at Charmouth all within easy reach. Axminster is about three miles away, and the park sits on the edge of the Blackdown Hills in East Devon.
Is Andrewshayes Holiday Park dog friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome across the park, including in some holiday homes, and there is a dedicated dog exercise field plus woodland and country walks from the gate. Some of the lodges also have private hot tubs where dogs can stay with you.
When is Andrewshayes open?
The park is open from April to November and closed over winter. Pitch, glamping and holiday-home prices are quoted through the park's own booking system, with lodge bookings also handled via Hoseasons, so checking your dates online gives the accurate price.
