Why campers love it here
About this site
Ashbourne Heights is a family holiday park set on high ground above Fenny Bentley, about 2 miles north of Ashbourne in the Peak District. The famous Tissington Trail starts right at the park entrance, so you can walk or cycle straight from your pitch, and the high fields give you long views across the Peak District National Park. You get a real mix of ways to stay: grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, ensuite pitches with a private toilet and shower, a glamping pod with its own hot tub, plus lodges and holiday caravans to rent or buy. On park there is a heated indoor swimming pool, a Farmhouse Tea Room and Bar, a children's outdoor play area, a shop and a launderette, with a dog wash and bike wash included. Two dogs are welcome per booking, so Ashbourne Heights suits dog owners well. Be honest on timing: the site gets busy on summer weekends and bank holidays, and the amenity block is on the compact side for a park this size. Bakewell, Dovedale and Carsington Water are all short drives away in Derbyshire. The park opens from March to January, and touring, camping and glamping stays are booked through the Ashbourne Heights website.
