About this site

Bagwell Farm Touring Park is an independent, family-run touring and camping park at Chickerell near Weymouth in Dorset, set in a quiet valley within reach of the Jurassic Coast. The park sits about five miles from Weymouth and its sandy beach and harbour, with Chesil Beach, the Fleet Lagoon and the South West Coast Path close by, so it works well as a base for walking and exploring west Dorset. Pitches suit tents, caravans and motorhomes, ranging from basic non-electric grass through to fully serviced super pitches with 16-amp hook-up, water, drainage and a TV point, and both grass and hardstanding are available. Some pitches enjoy sea views. This is a relaxed countryside park rather than a lively holiday resort, so it suits campers after peace rather than on-site entertainment. A heated toilet and shower block, a shop and a dog wash stay open all year, and the Red Barn bar and grill runs from Easter to October. Dogs are welcome on the lead, and the park has won repeated awards for its sustainable, green approach. Bagwell Farm is open all year, with hardstanding super pitches usable through winter. Touring pitches start from £19.50 a night for two adults.
