About this site
Pitches: 60 Opening Dates: Open All Year Beech Croft Farm is a small, family-run caravan park and camping site located between Buxton and Bakewell in Derbyshire. It is an ideal base for exploring the Peak District National Park. This quiet caravan park is beautifully situated, nestling in a sheltered meadow, with views towards the rolling Derbyshire hills. There are several walks from the park: it is located on the new Pennine Bridleway, with the Monsal Trail and Limestone Way both close by. Local places for day trips include Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Chatsworth, and many other charming towns and villages. A warm & friendly welcome awaits you from John & Julie Gregory who run the park alongside their small sheep farm. We don't allow camp fires on the ground but we do allow fire pits as long as they are raised off the ground and kept under control at all times In Spring 2011 we re opened after doing extensive renovation works including a new environmentally friendly heated toilet & shower block, increasing the size of our hard standings, all with 16amp hook-up & water tap. We have also increased the camping area into an adjoining field providing prepayment card hook-ups for anyone that wants to use them. The shop, which is located nearby, sells basic provisions, soft drinks, ices, etc. We also sell Calor & Camping Gaz. We are always happy to meet new visitors along with old friends each year. We look forward to seeing you at Beech Croft Farm.
