Berry Barton Caravan Park is a family-run campsite on a 350-acre working dairy farm above the coastal village of Branscombe, near Seaton in East Devon. It sits in green fields with fine countryside views and direct access to the cliffs and the Jurassic Coast path, which is the headline reason to come. Camping costs from £18 a night, or £25 with an electric hook-up, based on four people sharing, and the spacious pitches take tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There are also fully furnished rental caravans and holiday homes for anyone not bringing their own kit. The relaxed, open-field setup suits families, couples and groups who want coast and countryside rather than a busy park with pools and clubs, so look elsewhere if you need lots of on-site entertainment. Dogs are welcome on leads, campfires are allowed, and Branscombe's pebble beach, thatched pub and the wider East Devon coast are close, with Sidmouth, Beer and Seaton all a short drive. Berry Barton runs through the main season from spring into autumn. Book early for peak summer, as this stretch of the East Devon coast near Branscombe is a firm favourite and the coastal pitches go quickly.
