Why campers love it here
About this site
Brewery Farm Campsite is a small, quiet touring and tent site on a working farm at Ansty, a village in rural inland Dorset. It sits near Milton Abbas, roughly 10 miles from Dorchester, with Blandford Forum also nearby and the Jurassic Coast within reach for day trips south. The Fox Inn, a 250 year old pub, stands opposite the entrance, and a stocked village shop with a Post Office is about 100 metres away. Hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up take touring caravans, campervans and small motorhomes up to 7.5 metres, while grass pitches suit tents (tent hook-up by arrangement). A shepherd's hut and self-catering lodges add options for anyone wanting a roof. This is a calm, off the beaten track spot rather than a busy resort park, so those after lively nightlife should look elsewhere. What stands out is the standard of the wet-room facilities, fire pits to hire, genuinely dark skies, and the Ansty Ambler walking routes that start at the gate. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads. The site is open all year (weather permitting), with nightly rates that include electric, water, showers and WiFi, booked through the Brewery Farm website.
