About this site

Browns Farm Caravan Park is a small, family run touring site on a working farm at Woodbury Salterton, near Exeter in East Devon. Run by the Dagworthy family, the three acre site has pitches backing onto hedgerows beside a 14th century farmhouse on the edge of the village, about six miles from Exeter and a mile from Woodbury Common, a heathland with panoramic views over the Exe estuary. Every pitch has an electric hook up and a drinking water tap, with hardstandings, some premier pitches, a toilet and shower block, a disabled toilet, a laundry room, wifi and a chemical disposal point. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome and well behaved dogs are allowed, so it suits couples, families and anyone touring East and South Devon, from the Jurassic Coast at Exmouth to Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. A bus to Exeter and Exmouth stops on request at the entrance, and the Diggers Rest pub is a ten minute walk. Browns Farm at Woodbury Salterton is open all year with level access, and pitches can be booked online or on 01395 233127. Despite older listings suggesting it closed, the park is trading.
