About this site
Pitches: 150 Opening Dates: 14/02 to 09/11 Beautifully located by the West Dorset Heritage Coast, our Charmouth Club Site is surrounded by hills. For obvious reasons, this is a very popular holiday destination, so book early! The coast at Charmouth is part of the Jurassic Coast of Dorset - now a World Heritage Site. Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre is home to interactive displays and much information on fossils, fossil hunting and the local coastal and marine wildlife. The famous fossil beach is five miles from the site. There is so much to see in the area including caves, a donkey sanctuary, a swannery, planes, trams and automobiles all of which are wonderful to visit for both old and young alike. Lyme Regis has a unique 17th Century harbour known as The Cobb. The town itself hosts many festivals throughout the summer. Carnival week, Life Boat week, Jazz, Folk, Food and Fossil festivals to name a few. Take a tram along the beautiful Axe Valley from Seaton to Colyton. Caravan Holiday Homes are also available for purchase. For more information please visit our website . Member price from: £8.35 per person per night
