Why campers love it here
About this site
Cherwell Leys Farm Certificated Location is a small, members-only touring site on a working farm near Fordingbridge, sitting on the border of Dorset and Hampshire within the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. The site takes just five units for caravans, motorhomes and small campervans, spread across about 1.5 acres, and each pitch has a 16-amp electric hook-up. It does not accept tents, and facilities are deliberately simple: an exclusive-use toilet and good television reception, but no showers, so Cherwell Leys Farm suits self-contained tourers rather than campers who want full amenity blocks. As a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, it is open only to Club members, and the small size keeps the farm quiet and unhurried. Dogs are welcome, with a dog walk straight from the site and open countryside all around. Fordingbridge lies roughly four miles away, Salisbury and the New Forest are within easy reach, and Poole is about 26 miles south. This is an inland, rural base built for peaceful stays, farm surroundings and walking on the Dorset border, not a beach or entertainment site. Prices and pitch availability are arranged through the Caravan and Motorhome Club once you log in as a member.
