Clay Pigeon Caravan Park is a redeveloped touring and holiday home park on Wardon Hill in rural Dorset, sharing its site with the Clay Pigeon Raceway karting circuit and a clay shooting ground. It lies just off the A37, roughly midway between Dorchester and Yeovil at about 12 miles each way, on a level, well-mown park with views over the Dorset Downs. Dorchester's shops and museums are a short drive, and the Jurassic Coast at Weymouth and West Bay is within easy reach. The park offers large pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes with electric hook-up, alongside static holiday homes for sale, and it has year-round holiday use. Check-in is at the neighbouring George Albert Hotel, whose restaurant runs from snacks to a Sunday carvery. This suits motorsport and shooting visitors, families using the play area, and anyone touring central Dorset. The on-site karting and shooting mean it is not the quietest rural pitch, so light sleepers should factor that in. Water is supplied free, and pitches have gas as well as electric connections.
