About this site

Dartmoor Country Holidays, also known as Magpie Leisure Park, is a long-established touring and camping park on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park. You will find it at Bedford Bridge, Horrabridge, near Yelverton in South Devon, where the select 30-pitch touring field is bordered by the south bank of the River Walkham and wrapped in trees and greenery. The ground is flat, level and grassy, and pitches take tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and small campervans, with electric hook-ups and hardstanding available. Dogs are welcome, up to two per pitch or lodge. Alongside the camping there are four Scandinavian wooden lodges sleeping between two and seven, handy if some of your group would rather not be under canvas. The Bidder family have run and developed the park for over 80 years, and toilets and showers are provided on site. This corner of South Devon suits touring caravanners and campers who want quick access to Dartmoor's moorland walks rather than a coastal pitch. The park opens from March to November. Book direct with Dartmoor Country Holidays in Horrabridge.
