Downshay Farm

Opening Dates: 30/03 To 31/10 Downshay Farm is a working farm in the heart of the isle of Purbeck, ideally located for exploring the area. CARAVAN SITE Former certified location now expanded to 12 pitches. We offer you a lawned and terraced site on 3 levels with private tarmac access road. All pitches have electric hookup and superb views of Corfe Castle and Purbeck hills. We can accommodate caravans, campervans and trailer tents, but no transit vehicles. Booking recommended in high season. IMPORTANT: if you have a chemical toilet, please use Elsan Organic fluid. No facility for Blue. Dogs are permitted onsite on a lead. Caravan site open from 31st March-1st November. CAMPSITE We also offer family camping in a adjacent field during Whitsun week (22nd May-2nd June) and from 14th July - 1st Sept. This field is for TENTS and VW SIZE CAMPER-VANS only(no transit vehicles). Our spacious field has superb views and allows you to spread out, relax and enjoy your holiday. Children are welcome. Our facilities include 2 toilet blocks both with showers and hot water and washing-up points. Electric power point for hairdryers and freezers for icepacks in information shed. Recycling area in farmyard. Barbecues and small firebowls are permitted but no open on-the-ground campfires. IMPORTANT: if you have a chemical toilet, please use Elsan Organic fluid.
