Why campers love it here
About this site
Eweleaze Farm is a tent-only seasonal campsite on an organic farm above Osmington, on the south Dorset coast a short drive east of Weymouth. The site spreads across several cliff-top fields in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wide sea views over Weymouth Bay and steps down to a private shingle beach and rockpools on the Jurassic Coast. Pitches are open grass with no marked bays, so you choose your own spot, and there is no electric hook-up anywhere on site. It takes tents and small campervans only, as caravans and motorhomes are not allowed, which makes it better for campers after an off-grid field than tourers who need power and hardstanding. Campfires are allowed when raised off the ground, dogs are welcome, and families get a lot to do: farm animals to meet, hay-bale play areas, a wood-fired sauna and a beach for swimming and fossil hunting. A farm shop, bakery, pizza van and barn restaurant keep catering sorted on site. Luxury bell tents are available if you would rather not bring your own. Eweleaze Farm opens for six weeks only, from 20 July to 31 August 2026, and pitches are booked through the farm's online booking system, which charges per person, per vehicle and per dog.
