About this site

Pitches: 30 Opening Dates: 25/05 To 27/08 Fox Wood is a beautiful campsite at the bottom of a wooded valley within the South Downs National Park. The campsite is located within a 35-acre private woodland and each of the pitches has their own firepit area with log seats. No cars are allowed within the woodland, but wheelbarrows are available from reception to help move your tents and bits to and from your camp area. Alternatively, ask a member of site staff to run your gear to your chosen camp area for a small charge using our site vehicle. Being off-grid, our toilets are composting and water is pumped from an underground well. Our toilets can be found in a purpose-built modern block (five for ladies and three for men) where we also have gas-powered showers (small charge applies). Come for a visit on your next camping break and find our secret hideaway in the woods!
