About this site

Golden Sands Holiday Park is one of the few large South Devon parks that still welcomes tents and tourers, a lively Park Holidays site at Dawlish Warren that mixes pitches with holiday homes. Campers get grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, glamping pods for a comfier night, and hire or ownership static caravans, all on one busy resort. The sandy spit at Dawlish Warren, its dunes and the long run of beach are a short walk away, the little resort's shops and cafes sit nearby, and Exeter is roughly 13 miles up the Exe estuary. This is a park for people who want noise, activity and things to keep children busy, not those chasing a peaceful corner of Devon. The centrepiece is a heated pool that runs from indoors out to a poolside splash area, joined by a clubhouse with cabaret most evenings, an amusement arcade, a coarse fishing pond, a play park and free daytime kids' clubs across the season. Add a shop, launderette, EV charging and a dog walking field, and dogs are welcome throughout. Golden Sands trades across the main season, roughly March to early November, and touring and pod stays are reserved directly with Park Holidays.
