Why campers love it here
About this site
Graston Copse Holiday Park is a quiet, family camping park in the Bride Valley of West Dorset, one mile from the Jurassic Coast at Burton Bradstock. Run by West Dorset Leisure Holidays, the site sits on three acres of landscaped fields beside the River Bride, ringed by farmland and open countryside. Grass pitches come with or without electric hook-up for tents, with a separate area for motorhomes and touring caravans and an extra non-electric meadow that opens at peak season. It is a back-to-basics, peaceful spot that suits couples, families and dog owners rather than anyone after an on-site pool or nightly entertainment, though guests can use the leisure facilities at Highlands End Holiday Park (a 4.6 mile drive, charges apply). What stands out is the dark-sky stargazing, the enclosed off-lead dog meadow, the bee hives and the 3.4 mile nature trail, plus a 15 minute riverside walk into Burton Bradstock village with its two pubs, farm shop and Hive Beach beyond. Up to three dogs are welcome per booking and fire pits using smokeless fuel are permitted. Graston Copse opens from 19 March to 27 September 2026, and pitch prices are quoted through the West Dorset Leisure Holidays booking system.
