Halfway between Hope and Edale The site is well used by couples,families and youth organisations such as Duke of Edinburgh. The campsite is noted for the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. An ideal site for anyone who appreciates the countryside and outdoor activities. The site is in an ideal situation for walkers about to start or end their trek along the 270 miles of the Pennine Way. For the less ambitious there are many beautiful and interesting areas around Edale for peaceful walks including Logbridge, Kinderdownfall, Mam Tor, Winnats Pass and Jacobs Ladder. Pitches are limited to maintain the quality and atmosphere of the site - supplements will be charged for very large tents at busy times. Brand new upgraded facilities include Ladies & Gents Toilets, hot showers and washing up facilities. No open fires but purpose-made barbeques are welcome. Cars parked next to your Pitch Dogs accepted and should be kept on a lead at all times.All Pooh should be picked up immediately. Sorry we are unable to take dogs during the week from Monday to Thursday. NO NOISE OR MUSIC AFTER 10.30PM and NO OUTDOOR MUSIC AT ANY TIME. GAZEBOS ARE NOT ACCEPTED - THEY HAVE GIVEN US NOISE COMPLAINTS. Payment on arrival by Cash Only.
