About this site

Greenhills Holiday Park is a touring, camping and holiday home park set in 33 acres of the lower Wye Valley, about a mile from the centre of Bakewell in the Peak District. You are a short walk or five minute drive from Bakewell itself, with the Monsal Trail and Ashford in the Water close by for cycling and gentle walks. The park runs 140 hardstanding touring pitches, all with 16 amp electric hook up, and 45 tent pitches on separate camping fields, so tents and vans are not squeezed together. Generously sized pitches (roughly 8 by 8 metres) carry open countryside views, with mixed woodland giving shelter along either side. On site you get the Stable Bar clubhouse serving local ales, a well stocked shop, a children's playground, a recreational field for ball games and a modern heated amenity block with free hot showers and a laundry. Dog friendly nature walks lead straight from the park. Greenhills also has three fields of privately owned caravan holiday homes and offers seasonal touring pitches. Reviewers regularly single out how spotless the facilities are kept. Greenhills Holiday Park opens from February to November, and pitches are booked through the park website, where paying in full online currently earns a 10 percent discount.

Hard standing pitch 119, ok although 16 amp it kept tripping ( all ambiance’s are caravan friendly). Toilet/ shower block average, very narrow showers. Only 5 minute drive into Bakewell. Shop on site with few basics
