About this site

Highfield Farm Certificated Site is a small members only campsite on a traditional organic farm at Topsham near Exeter in South Devon, run as a certified site for the Camping and Caravanning Club. The camping area is level with five electric hook up pitches, and it sits just a ten minute walk from the estuary town of Topsham, with the cathedral city of Exeter about four miles away by bike, bus, train or car. The farm has been in the same family since 1905 and organic since the 1980s, so the setting is quiet, rural and working rather than a facility packed park. A solar heated shower and toilet block is provided free for guests, and there is easy access to Topsham's pubs, tea rooms and antique shops, a summer outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and the little ferry across the River Exe to Turf Locks. This suits Camping and Caravanning Club members after a peaceful base close to Exeter and the Exe estuary rather than anyone needing on site entertainment. To stay you must be a current club member. Highfield Farm is open each year from the 1st of April to the end of October, with summer pitches starting from £18 a night including two adults.
