About this site

Huntick Farm Caravan Park is a quiet, adults only touring and camping park in the Dorset countryside at Lytchett Matravers, a few miles north west of Poole. The site has 31 pitches spread across three separate areas, with pitches set around the perimeter of each so the middle stays open and most enjoy long countryside views. Some pitches are fully serviced, electric hook-ups are available and selected pitches have water on the pitch, which suits caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. Being adults only (16 and over), it does not suit families staying overnight, though visitors with children are allowed during the day between set hours. This is a calm, low key spot rather than an activity park, with deer on the site, buzzards overhead and birdsong doing most of the entertaining. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome, and there is a dog walk plus shadier pitches for warm days. Facilities include heated, insulated shower blocks with plenty of hot water, a unisex changing and shower room, a laundrette and a dishwashing area. Secure caravan and motorhome storage is offered on the farm all year, with a discount on pitch fees for storage customers. Huntick Farm makes an easy base for touring the Isle of Purbeck and reaching the Poole ferry terminals. Prices listed on the operator site start from £25 a night, though the tariff pages read as out of date and are worth confirming when booking.
