Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 70 Opening Dates: April To September Karrageen is a family run Holiday Park situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by National Trust protected coastline on the southernmost tip of Devon. The pretty fishing village of Hope Cove, with it's sandy beaches and rock pools is just one mile down the lane. Four miles away is the sailing Mecca of Salcombe, often described as the most beautiful estuary in England. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then that is exactly what Karrageen offers. We do not have a club or bar or children's playground but we do offer a well stocked shop with freshly cooked baguettes and croissants daily, a delicious hot takeaway menu and plenty of space for children to play happily and safely. We have facilities for touring caravans, motor caravans and tents of all shapes and sizes in addition to our beautifully equipped static caravans to hire. We recommend that you book ahead as we are not a large park and are usually full during the school holidays. Please note that all of our water comes from our own pure spring and we ask that it is used carefully. Although it is beautiful to drink it is not pressurised like mains water and does mean that we rely on a meter system for showers in the ablutions block.
