Kitwhistle Barn Certificated Location

Kitwhistle Barn Certificated Location is a five van Caravan and Motorhome Club CL on a smallholding at Beaminster Down in West Dorset, open to Club members only. The Club's listing describes a peaceful rural site suited to walking and cycling, well placed for Dorset, Devon and Somerset, with Beaminster and its shops, cafes and restaurants two miles away and the nearest Jurassic Coast beach ten miles off. As a Certificated Location, Kitwhistle Barn takes a maximum of five caravans or motorhomes with electric hook up available, and it does not take tents, so it suits touring members after a quiet base in the Dorset National Landscape rather than campers under canvas. One important caveat before you plan around it: the Club's own page for this CL no longer loads, and the site does not appear on the Club's current Beaminster Certificated Locations index, which lists only Frogmore Farm, Silverhay Farm and The Mill House.
