We are a quiet rural park surrounded by farms & fields with a lovely viaduct. We are also the closest park to Buxton town (only a £3.80 taxi or a 20 mins walk). Nestling amongst the surrounding Derbyshire hills at a height of over 1000ft, Buxton is reputed to be the highest town in England, and grew in fame as a spa town because of the pale blue water that bubbles up from thermal springs in the heart of the Peak District. The elegant town of Buxton has a wealth of lovely buildings dating from its days as a fashionable spa resort in the 18th and 19th centuries and the glorious Buxton Opera House with a wealth of walks and cycle routes. Lime Tree Park is ideally placed for discovering the glories of the Derbyshire countryside.
